Alexzia L. Negron

Trial Lawyer

Alexzia Negron is a passionate trial lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman. She tirelessly fights to secure justice for individuals who have suffered injuries due to another’s negligence. Alexzia combines meticulous legal preparation with compassionate client advocacy, ensuring her clients feel supported through every step of the legal process.

A New York native, Alexzia moved to California in 2017 to pursue her legal career and joined Carpenter & Zuckerman as a paralegal the same year. Alexzia spent several years honing her litigation expertise, including drafting motions, preparing trial documents, and conducting legal research. Through her dedication, hard work, and unyielding commitment to clients, she worked her way up to become an attorney at the firm. Her journey from paralegal to attorney reflects her perseverance, work ethic, and passion for achieving justice.

Before relocating to California, Alexzia began her legal career in New York. There, she gained invaluable experience as a legal assistant at defense firms, assisting in negligence claims, insurance defense, and trial preparation. During this time, she developed her legal drafting and case management skills. Her experience working for defense firms early in her career gave her a unique perspective and solidified her desire to advocate for the injured rather than defend large corporations.

Outside the courtroom, Alexzia enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their Cane Corso. She is passionate about traveling and loves attending concerts and soccer games.

Education

Alexzia earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School while working full-time in Carpenter & Zuckerman’s litigation department. She graduated with the Dean’s Merit Award, an honor given to students in the top 30 percent of their class for academic excellence. While at Southwestern, she served as treasurer and secretary of the Black Law Students Association, a Criminal Law teaching assistant mentoring first-year students, and an active Latino Law Students Association member.

Before attending Southwestern, Alexzia earned her Master of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Molloy University in New York, where she developed a strong foundation in legal systems and advocacy. Alexzia is also a Notary Public certified by the California Secretary of State.
