Justice Turner is a trial attorney at Carpenter & Zuckerman. His practice is concentrated in the areas of civil rights, serious personal injury litigation, business law, and entertainment law. Aptly named, Justice tirelessly advocates for the underserved and individuals whose rights have been violated.
A substantial part of Justice’s legal practice is devoted to utilizing his business expertise to represent a wide variety of professional clients. Specifically, Justice focuses on contract drafting and negotiation, entity formation, and business representation. His practice has included deals with high profile clients such as Colin Kaepernick, as well as VP-level music executives. Justice is uniquely positioned to handle business and legal matters, both of which he executes with the highest degree of skill and dedication.
Prior to joining CZ Law, Justice began his legal career at another prestigious Los Angeles-area law firm. Justice attended Hampton University, an HBCU (historically Black college or university), after which he attended the University of California, Irvine School of Law. While in law school, Justice developed his litigation skills in the criminal justice clinic by working to expunge nonviolent California drug-based convictions and to tear down the racially-biased Cal-gang database. He also served as the co-chair of both the Black Law Students Association and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. After graduating from law school, Justice developed his business acumen while earning his Master of Business Administration from the UCI Paul Merage School of Business.
